For our next beer, we decided to let the public choose what it would be. A post went out on our Facebook page asking followers what they would like us to brew.
The choices were weizenbock, blonde stout or altbier. It was a close vote but the altbier won.
We got to work straight away with a recipe I had made a while back as a homebrewer.
The recipe uses 5 malts with the emphasis on European malts. These are combined with a single German nobel hop to create a classic smooth drinking beer.
It has now been brewed and bottled. Conditioning should be done by the end of the month when it will be ready for sale.
