Meet our latest creation, Bestest Boy, our take on a truly classic English Best Bitter.

We’ve built this one on a beautiful, rich malt foundation of Crisp Maris Otter and Dark Crystal, giving it that gorgeous, deep copper colour and a satisfyingly complex caramel backbone. But where this bitter really shines is in the hop profile.

We’ve carefully layered this brew from the boil right through to the dry hop. A touch of Challenger sets the bittering stage for the real stars of the show: Bramling Cross and Ernest. We’ve used generous additions of both in the boil, the steep, and the dry hop to extract every ounce of flavour. Expect a beautiful balance of dark berry and subtle spicy notes from the Bramling Cross, perfectly complemented by the modern apricot and citrus characteristics of the UK Ernest hops.

Fermented with a traditional Old English yeast for that authentic, slightly fruity ester profile, it’s a beautifully conditioned, highly drinkable beer that champions the very best of classic British brewing. Cheers!
