Description
If you’re after a proper, traditional pint with a brilliant modern twist, you’ve got to try this cracking drop from Dog’s Window.
Bestest Boy pours a gorgeous, deep amber-copper colour, built on a robust backbone of classic Maris Otter and Dark Crystal malt. Expect a wonderfully bready, biscuity base layered with a rich caramel sweetness.
What really makes this Best Bitter shine, though, is the hop profile. After a clean bittering addition of Challenger, it features generous whirlpool additions and a dry hop of British Bramling Cross and Ernest. You’ll catch fantastic aromas and flavours of dark berry and spicy blackcurrant from the Bramling Cross, perfectly balanced by a vibrant, fruity punch of apricot and citrus from the Ernest hops. Fermented with a traditional Old English ale yeast for an authentic, slightly fruity finish, it’s a beautifully balanced and incredibly moreish pint.
